Using an SSL Certificate To Securely Download Your Email

Ecommerce website often use forms to collect private client data. "How do I download email securely?" is the question we often recieve from clients who want to protect their clients.

When a mailbox is popped using standard protocols, the username, password and data are sent in the clear over the internet. This means, that anyone with the ability to "listen in" on your mail client's login session with your mail server can easily retrieve your username and password as well as read your email. Even if your website uses a secure socket layer (SSL) which puts the little lock on in browsers that means that after your visitor has securely entered the data but it doesn't mean that when you download the email it's secure.

Fear not. ez2ba.com has a great solution called Secure Email. We install an SSL certificate on your account and then configure your account so that you can download your email securely as well. Contact our customer service department for information on pricing this important addition to your ecommerce website.
